Ingredients for Instant Jalebi:

  1. 1/2 cup Maida/ All purpose flour.
  2. 2 tbsp Urad dal powder.
  3. 3/4 tbsp Ghee.
  4. 3/4 tsp Eno.
  5. 1/4 cup Water.
  6. 1 cup Sugar.
  7. 1/2 cup Water.

Step by step how to cook Instant Jalebi:

  1. Take sugar in a pan and add water..
  2. Keep stirring on low flame, so that the sugar dissolves..
  3. Boil the sugar syrup for 5 mins. Add saffron and yellow food colour..
  4. Switch off the flame..
  5. In a bowl, add maida, urad dal, eno and ghee..
  6. It should resemble bread crumbs..
  7. Add water as required and the batter should have a flowing consistency..
  8. Now pour this batter in the tomato ketchup bottles/ ziplock carefully..
  9. Heat oil in a pan..
  10. Now squeeze the bottle and make round spirals with the batter..
  11. When one side is partly cooked, turn over and fry the other side..
  12. Fry till the jalebis are a light golden. Remove with tongs and immediately drop the fried jalebis in the warm sugar syrup..
  13. Dip and turn over so that both sides are coated with the syrup..
  14. Remove and shake lightly and place them on a plate..
  15. Serve jalebis hot, warm or at room temperature..
