Ingredients for Orange Yogurt cake:
- 100 g Plain flour.
- 100 g Sugar.
- 50 g Butter.
- 50 g Yogurt.
- 2 Eggs.
- 1 Orange (approx. 150g).
- 1 tsp Baking powder.
Step by step how to cook Orange Yogurt cake:
- Slice an orange into 3mm. Add 2 tbsp water and 2 tbsp sugar and microwave it for 7-10 minutes until white part of orange is trancelucent..
- Once it cool down, chop it into small pieces. You can use food processor or blender. Mix it with yogurt when you use blender..
- Microwave butter for 20-30 seconds to soften (or leave it at room temperature). Start preheating oven at 170℃..
- Mix butter with whisk until creamy. Add sugar, yogurt, eggs and mix well. (it's OK if the mixture is not totally mixed).
- Sift flour and baking powder into the bowl. Mix well..
- Place the mixture into bakin tin. Bake in 170 ℃ preheated oven for 40 minutes..
- Check with stick, it's done if not wet. You can serve on the day or a night after (it becomes richer)..
