Ingredients for Paneer Jalebi:

  1. 1 cup paneer (200 gms).
  2. 1 cup sugar.
  3. 1/2 water.
  4. 1 pinch saffron.
  5. 1 pinch food colour.
  6. 1/2 tsp elaichi powder.
  7. 2 tbsp flour.
  8. 2 tbsp corn flour.
  9. as needed oil or ghee for deep fry.

Step by step how to cook Paneer Jalebi:

  1. In a deep pan mix sugar and water to make a thick sugar syrup. add saffron and elaichi powder in that syrup. then that off and put it aside.
  2. In a grinder jar, grind paneer until a plane paste without lumps is formed..
  3. Pour that paneer paste into a bowl. then add flour and corn flour mix it until a fine paste is formed with a spatula. (vada batter)..
  4. Then pour the batter in the Jalebi making bag and close it..
  5. Take some oil(for deep fry) and pour the mixture into the oil with the help of Jalebi bag in a shape of Jalebi..
  6. When the Jalebi gets a golden brown colour, instantly add it into the sugar syrup which we made earlier..
  7. After 10 minutes take out your Jalebis and add almond crumbs onto it for garnish..
  8. And here you go, your paneer Jalebi are ready to eat..
