Ingredients for Pineapple Jalebi:
- 10-12 thinly sliced pineapple.
- 1 cup maida.
- 2 tsp corn flour.
- 1/2 tsp baking powder.
- 1/2 cup water.
- 1 pinch yellow colour.
- to taste Salt.
- as needed oil.
- Ingredients for sugar syrup.
- 1 cup sugar.
- 1 cup water.
- 1/2 tsp pineapple essence.
Step by step how to cook Pineapple Jalebi:
- Mix maida, cornflour, baking powder, water and a pinch of salt together to make a smooth batter of flowing consistency. Add a few drops of yellow food colour and mix it well. Keep it aside. Prepare a syrup of one- thread consistency by boiling the water and sugar. Add pinespple essence to it. Now dip the sliced pineapples in the batter and deep fry in hot oil. Immerse the fried pineapples(jalebi) in the syrup for 10 minutes and serve then..
