Ingredients for Instant Jalebi:
- 1 cup maida.
- 4 tbsp urad dal powder.
- 20 gm ghee.
- 1 tsp eno fruit salt.
- as needed water to make batter.
- for sugar syrup.
- 2 cup sugar.
- 1 cup water.
- as needed saffron strings or food colour.
- as needed ghee or oil for frying jalebi.
Step by step how to cook Instant Jalebi:
- First in a bowl take maida, urad dal powder, eno and ghee, mix everything to well combine..
- Now add water (little at a time)and make thick /smooth batter..
- Pour this batter into a sauce bottle or u can use cloth or piping bag for making jalebi..
- Meanwhile heat water and sugar in a pan, stir till sugar dissolved and let it come to a boiling point, switch the flame on medium and cook for another 2 mins.add few drops of lemon juice to avoid crystallize.set aside..
- Heat ghee or oil in a wide pan.once the ghee /oil is medium hot, start to drop the batter in a circular pattern.fry the jalebi until nice golden from both side..
- When done remove the jalebi from pan immediately dunk into the sugar syrup.soak the jalebi in the syrup for about 1min.and then remove on a plate..
- Similarly continue making the rest of the jalebi..
- Quick and easy, Crispy and delicious jalebi are ready to serve. Garnish with some pista flakes and serve hot..
