Ingredients for Instant Jalebi:

  1. 1 cup maida.
  2. 4 tbsp urad dal powder.
  3. 20 gm ghee.
  4. 1 tsp eno fruit salt.
  5. as needed water to make batter.
  6. for sugar syrup.
  7. 2 cup sugar.
  8. 1 cup water.
  9. as needed saffron strings or food colour.
  10. as needed ghee or oil for frying jalebi.

Step by step how to cook Instant Jalebi:

  1. First in a bowl take maida, urad dal powder, eno and ghee, mix everything to well combine..
  2. Now add water (little at a time)and make thick /smooth batter..
  3. Pour this batter into a sauce bottle or u can use cloth or piping bag for making jalebi..
  4. Meanwhile heat water and sugar in a pan, stir till sugar dissolved and let it come to a boiling point, switch the flame on medium and cook for another 2 mins.add few drops of lemon juice to avoid crystallize.set aside..
  5. Heat ghee or oil in a wide pan.once the ghee /oil is medium hot, start to drop the batter in a circular pattern.fry the jalebi until nice golden from both side..
  6. When done remove the jalebi from pan immediately dunk into the sugar syrup.soak the jalebi in the syrup for about 1min.and then remove on a plate..
  7. Similarly continue making the rest of the jalebi..
  8. Quick and easy, Crispy and delicious jalebi are ready to serve. Garnish with some pista flakes and serve hot..
