Ingredients for Tandoor Aloo:
- 10 Baby Potatoes.
- 1 cup Yogurt.
- 2 tbsp Mustard Oil.
- 1 tsp Ginger.
- 1 tbsp Salt.
- 1.5 tbsp Kashmiri Chilli Powder.
- 1/2 tsp Carom Seeds.
- 3/4 tsp Roasted Cumin Powder.
- 3/4 tsp Dry Mint.
- 1/2 tbsp Garam Masala Powder.
- 1/2 tsp Chaat Masala.
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice.
Step by step how to cook Tandoor Aloo:
- Preheat the tawa oven for 10 mins..
- Par boil potatoes in water for 15mins..
- Peel the boiled potatoes..
- In a big bowl add yogurt, mustard oil,1 tsp lemon juice and all the spices in it..
- Mix well, add besan and boiled potatoes in it..
- Cover the bowl and let the potatoes marinate for 15mins..
- Take a wide and thick bottom oven pan and add the potatoes in a single layer in it..
- Roast the potatoes in tawa oven on the highest flame for about 15 minutes..
- When the marination almost dries up and potatoes get roasted then remove from the tawa oven..
- Drizzle some lemon juice and serve hot..
- Serve with mint chutney as a starter or use as a side dish..
