Ingredients for Creamy Sausage Pasta and Peppers:

  1. 1 packages egg noodles.
  2. 1 rope of smoked sausage (I used Johnsonville, but any brand will do).
  3. 2 medium green peppers, cored and sliced into strips.
  4. 1 yellow onion, diced.
  5. 24 oz alfredo sauce.
  6. 2 garlic clove, minced.
  7. 1 salt and pepper, to taste.
  8. 1 cayanne pepper, to taste.
  9. 1/4 cup butter, for sauteing onions and peppers.
  10. 1 cup shredded cheddar.

Step by step how to cook Creamy Sausage Pasta and Peppers:

  1. Prepare the noodles according to the package (I add a bit of salt to the water when it boils, it helps to keep the pasta from sticking). Drain and set aside..
  2. While boiling the pasta, saute the onions in a saucepan. Add the peppers and garlic, stirring constantly..
  3. Slice the sausage and add to peppers and onions, stirring to keep from scorching..
  4. Once the sausage mixture is finished, remove from heat..
  5. Mix alfredo sauce into noodles and turn heat back on to low, stirring constantly. Add spices and mix well..
  6. Mix in peppers, onions, and sausage and combine. Add shredded cheese and stir until mixed. Serve hot and enjoy!.
