Ingredients for Instant Jaggery Jalebi:

  1. 1 1/2 Cup Refined Flour.
  2. 3 tbsp Rice Flour.
  3. 2 tbsp Besan.
  4. 1 tbsp Sooji.
  5. 1 tbsp Wheat Flour.
  6. 250 ml Buttermilk.
  7. 1/4 tsp Baking Powder.
  8. 2 tbsp Ghee for batter.
  9. INGREDIENTS FOR SYRUP ARE.
  10. 250 gm Jaggery.
  11. 1/2 Cup Water.
  12. 1 tsp Cardamom Powder.
  13. as needed Saffron strands.
  14. as needed ghee for frying.

Step by step how to cook Instant Jaggery Jalebi:

  2. Take all the above mentioned flours in a container add buttermilk. Mix well. No lump formation should be there. The consistency should be as an idli batter. Keep it aside for 10 minutes.
  3. Take Jaggery and Water in a container. Heat it on medium flame. Get 2 Tar syrup. Add Cardamom Powder and Saffron Strands to it. This is further to be mixed properly..
  4. Put ghee on medium flame and let it melt. Take 2 tbsp of warm ghee from it and add it to the batter. Add baking powder and mix well..
  5. Pour the batter into a Jalebi maker. Fry jalebis in ghee on medium flame. They should be fryed till they are golden brown..
  6. Put the fried Jalebis in the prepared Jaggery syrup. Let the jalebis get soaked in the Jaggery syrup for 1 - 2 minutes..
  7. Hot Jaggery Jalebi is ready to be served. Garnish it with cardamom Powder and sliced Almonds. (optional)..
