Ingredients for Instant Jalebi:

  1. 2 cup maida(white flour).
  2. 1 tbsp besan.
  3. 1 tbsp melted ghee.
  4. 1 tsp sugar.
  5. 1/4 tsp lemon yellow colour.
  6. 1 tsp fruit salt.
  7. 2 cups sugar.
  8. 1 tsp lemon juice.
  9. 10-12 strands kesar.
  10. Ghee for deep frying.

Step by step how to cook Instant Jalebi:

  1. Combine together maida, besan, ghee, 1 tsp sugar, 1/4 tsp lemon yellow colour..
  2. Mix well to make a smooth batter of medium thick pouring consistency using required lukewarm water..
  3. For sugar syrup : take sugar in a deep pan, add 1 cup water to it and keep it aside for 5 minutes..
  4. Cook it on medium flame, stirring continuously till the sugar melts and it starts boiling. Switch off the gas..
  5. To this syrup add Kesar, cardamom powder and lemon juice and mix well..
  6. Now to the Jalebi batter add 1 tsp of fruit salt. Here the batter will ferment immediately..
  7. Fill this Jalebi batter in a bottle used for making the jalebi..
  8. Take a flat bottom shallow pan half filled with ghee. Heat the ghee..
  9. Press out round whirls of the batter in the hot ghee, starting from the center and working towards the outer side. Derp fry them on a medium flame till golden brown from both sides..
  10. Drain and deep them in sugar syrup. Immediately drain them..
  11. And garnish with dry fruits of your choice. Serve crispy hot. You can also serve these crispy Jalebi topped with hot Rabdi..
