Ingredients for Steamed Cake:
- 500 gms Hung curd.
- 500 ml Condensed milk.
- 50 gms Roasted broken cashew nuts.
- 60 ml Fresh orange juice.
- 1 cup Fresh orange pulp.
- 1 tbsp Orange zest.
- 1 tsp vanilla essence.
- as required Fresh raspberrie, black grapes, thyme & orange zest for garnishing.
Step by step how to cook Steamed Cake:
- Mix hung curd & condensed milk together & beat well.You can use a mixie..
- Then pour the mixture into a mixing bowl..
- Add orange juice, orange pulp, orange zest, roasted broken cashew nuts & vanilla essence to it.
- Give it a good mix..
- Grease a ring shaped mould with either white butter or clarified butter..
- Pour the mixture into the mould & tap a little in order to get rid of air bubbles if any..
- Cover the mould with an aluminum foil..
- Steam in a steamer for about 1 hour or 1 hour 20 minutes..
- Allow it to cool down & then keep in the fridge for minimum 2 hours before serving..
- I have decorated it with fresh raspberries,black grapes,thyme & orange zest..
