Ingredients for Stuffed Bell Peppers:

  1. 3 Large Bell Peppers.
  2. 1 lb. lean ground beef.
  3. 24 oz. jar spaghetti sauce.
  4. 1/2 Cup grated Cheese.
  5. 1 Tblsp. Parmesan Cheese.
  6. 2 Cups Steamed Rice.
  7. 1/3 Cup Minced Onion.
  8. 1 tsp. salt.
  9. 1 tsp. pepper.
  10. 1/4 Cup Water.

Step by step how to cook Stuffed Bell Peppers:

  1. Mix meat in mixing bowl along with cheeses, rice, onion, seasonings, and 1/2 Cup sauce and set aside..
  2. Wash, then cut tops of peppers off and clean seeds and membranes from center of peppers..
  3. Stuff peppers evenly with meat mixture..
  4. Place peppers in crockpot and pour water into the bottom around peppers. Pour the remaing sauce over the top of peppers..
  5. Cook in crockpot for 3 hours on high, then 1 more hour on low..
  6. Let peppers cool a little before serving. otherwise, they fall apart getting them from the pot to the plate!.
  7. These can be baked in a covered dish in a 350°oven for 1 and 1/2 hours..
