Ingredients for Veg. Italian Pizza:
- Pizza Bread - Ingredients.
- 2 cups Whole Flour.
- 3/4 cup Luke-warm Water.
- 1 tsp Sugar.
- 1 tsp Dry Yeast.
- 3 tbsp Oil.
- as per taste Salt.
- Pizza Sauce - Ingredients.
- 500 gram Tomatoes.
- as needed Finely Chopped Onions.
- 1Pinch Ajwain.
- 1 tsp Garlic paste.
- 1 tsp Sugar.
- 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder.
- 1 tsp Corn Flour.
- as per taste Salt.
- Veggies for Making Pizza.
- 1each Capsicums/Bell Peppers (Red, Yellow, Green).
- as needed Black Olives.
- as needed Cheese.
- 1/2 tsp Paprika / Oregano.
Step by step how to cook Veg. Italian Pizza:
- To prepare the Pizza-sauce: Boil the tomatoes, as it gets cool, crush and strain well. Heat some oil in sauce pan, sauté onions with ajwain for 5 min. and add all the other ingredients later. Mix some corn flour in tomato stock and add it to sauce. This will thicken the sauce quickly..
- Add sugar, yeast in Luke-warm water, Cover and keep it aside for 10 min. As yeast starts to bubble, add oil to it. Knead the dough with salt and yeast mixture, pizza dough must be of softer consistency than chapati dough..
- Knead the dough for 5-10 min. Keep this dough in vessel with cover and rest it for 4-6 hours at warm place, to double it in size..
- Place this fermented dough in pizza tray and slab it flat by hands. Prepare it for a bake by spreading the pizza sauce, cheese, onions, capsicums, black olives, paprika, oregano on to it..
- Per-heat the baking vessel filled with sand, then place the Pizza tray on a stand. Bake it for 10 min and Veg. Italian Pizza is ready..
